Love this app. Have used it so many times. Works well and people also seem to love that I have it.

The interface is great, I realized by how much Ive been overtiping

How come none of the many tip calculators have any idea about tax? Tax figures in to a lot of use cases that all of these apps ignore. I never have used the "split it evenly" into a bunch of pieces features, and without a tax value were being told that we should be tipping on the tax as well? Why cant I enter the bill total and the tax rate and the tip percent and have it tell me how much total money I need to leave? Why cant I enter the cost of the items I ordered, the tax rate, the tip rate and have it tell me the total? Why cant I enter the total amount I want to pay, the cost of the items I ordered and the tax rate and have it tell me how much tip amount and percent this results in? Hey Carlos Perez, please pay attention to this post. These are important features that no one is doing.

I prefer the dials to selecting the fields in the other tip calculator. This is one of the first apps I bought when I got the phone and I suggest you consider adding it to your collection! Its fast and easy to use and while the smaller keypad might be a deal breaker for some, I prefer the dials to select the tip %. A suggestion: some people like calculating the tip before tax, so I would suggest adding a feature that would both calculate the tip before tax and add it to the after tax total.

Very useful for simple, brainless tipping. Would love it if I could turn off the sounds.

The mirror function is very useful. The app is very easy to use.

Everything is perfect on this App, except that it does not have retina support which would give it the full 5 stars.

I cant find any faults with this app. Works as described and now with retina support. Simple and just works!

Really nice option when youre out with multiple couples! Flexible with amount of percentage too! Would love it if there were setting to turn off the sound effects. New tone sounds like a slot machine!

I have been using this app for quite some time, easy to use. I figure what % I want to give then round the tip up or down from there. Rounding of the tip would be a nice addition, but its still a great, easy app to use... Thanks for finally explaining what mirror means, I always wondered about that!! The developer explains on the app page description in the app store...

5 stars means "its great" according to Apple, and thats just what this app is. My favorite thing is that as soon as you open it, its ready to just tap in the bill amount and presto - youve got a tip ready to go, and it remembers and re-uses your last options for all the settings. What could be simpler? My ONLY wish - and its minor - is that since I eat alone a lot, I wish I could round to the nearest $0.50 instead of the nearest whole dollar. But as soon as i eat with just one other person, its no longer an issue due to the size of the check

I love the simple design, which lets me figure out a tip quickly before I get embarrassed.

Now when we go out with a big group there are no more next morning realizations that we under/over paid. This app is great, we use it everytime we go out!

I have tried a few other tip apps in the app store and this by far is the best. Its easy to use and fast. No matter how many people your with, you can instantly calculate the tip.
